YouTube Star Heebab Wraps Up Season 2 of ‘Saturday is a Meal Delivery Day’ with a Staggering $1,710 Food Bill

Mukbang star Heebab wraps up hit Korean show Saturday is a Meal Delivery Day Season 2

The second season of “Saturday is a Meal Delivery Day” featuring noted mukbang YouTuber Heebab has officially wrapped up, garnering massive online attention for its finale episode that aired on June 24. Hosted on the Tcast‘s E Channel YouTube channel ‘E 밥세끼’, the show has quickly become a trending sensation in Korea’s digital food entertainment landscape.

In the finale titled “Special,” producers revealed Heebab’s total food expenditure throughout the season—an astonishing 2.27 million KRW (approximately $1,710 USD), with individual segments showing her consuming massive quantities ranging from Premium Rib barbecue to All-You-Can-Eat Shabu-Shabu.

One standout moment came during her sixth episode, when she teamed up with celebrity chef Jung Ji Seon—dubbed the “Dim Sum Queen” and a contestant from Netflix’s hit culinary show “흑O요리사.” Together, they indulged in Soy Sauce Marinated Crab, racking up a receipt of over $550 USD worth of crab alone, which left audiences stunned.

“Saturday is a Meal Delivery Day” is a spin-off of the popular Korean food series “Saturday is Good for Meals,” and elevates the format into a full mukbang game show genre. Heebab takes to the streets asking random citizens to buy her a meal, and in return, the “meal-friends” are offered the chance to win a lucky cashback of up to triple their spending via a roulette wheel challenge.

The immersive mukbang-meets-reality-game format has resonated with audiences. Episode six alone achieved over 530,000 views, and episode seven earned a place on YouTube’s official Trending Videos chart in Korea, cementing the show’s massive viral appeal.

This second season, which kicked off in April and concluded this June, marks another successful entry for Taekwang Group’s content portfolio through E Channel. While no official announcement has been made for a third season, fans are hopeful as Heebab’s boundless appetite continues to captivate viewers across Korea and beyond.
