Xdinary Heroes Ignites Seoul with ‘Beautiful Mind’ Tour Kickoff

Kpop band Xdinary Heroes open Beautiful Mind world tour with massive Seoul concerts

South Korean rock sensation Xdinary Heroes set Olympic Park Olympic Hall ablaze as they kicked off their second world tour, Beautiful Mind, with a four-day concert series in Seoul from April 5. With all tickets selling out, these performances marked a significant milestone in the band’s journey, showcasing their rapid growth since debut.

Having debuted with smaller stages like the YES24 Live Hall, the band spearheaded their concert expansion by drawing double the crowds last November for Live and Fall. Beautiful Mind continues this trajectory, with an extensive setlist ranging from rock ballads to heavy metal, encapsulating tracks from their full-length debut album to the latest sixth mini-album.

The theme of the tour derives from their album Beautiful Mind, created with the participation of all six members. The opening performance featuring title track Beautiful Life set the tone for an immersive rock experience. Throughout the show, Xdinary Heroes delivered a high-octane fusion of musicality and visual spectacle, blending powerful solos with live vocals across their 30-song, 200-minute marathon.

Member Juyeon, both bassist and vocalist, demonstrated charisma and prowess, calling himself “the top 4th-gen vocalist made by fans,” and proved it with breathtaking high notes. Keyboardist Jeongsu and guitarist Gaon also captivated the crowd with their unique vocal colors.

Highlights included thrilling solo stages—drummer Gunil’s explosive set, Ode’s dynamic megaphone performance, and robust riffs from guitarist Jun Han. The interplay of skill and energy kept fans on their feet.

The band embraced fan culture with “Xdinary-themed” dress code, as suggested by member Ode. Fans, collectively known as Villains, responded with cosplay-style dedication—face paints and lookalike outfits filled the venue, creating an intimate, communal vibe.

When anthem PLUTO began, the venue transformed into a galaxy of lights. Gunil’s heartfelt message touched many: “We hope our music becomes a source of comfort wherever you are.”

Marking a full-circle moment, the band acknowledged their humble beginnings and growth. Gunil quoted producer Park Jinyoung, “Artists need audiences to perform,” expressing gratitude to their dedicated fans. Juyeon added ambition to the mix, aspiring to outgrow Olympic Hall someday: “We hope this is our last show here, because we’re aiming even higher.”

After concluding with a heart-racing full-venue run to greet fans on every level, the group responded to encore chants with one final rousing delivery of Beautiful Life, leaving an unforgettable memory.

Following Seoul, Xdinary Heroes will continue their tour in Bangkok (April 17), Kuala Lumpur (April 31), Busan (June 14), Jakarta (June 21), Surabaya (June 25), Taipei (July 11), Daegu (July 20), Singapore (July 26), Brooklyn (August 2), Washington D.C. (August 5), Atlanta (August 8), Irving (August 10), Los Angeles (August 14), and San Jose (August 16).
