Last month, Netflix's original series "The Glory" debuted on the 30th. "The Glory" tells the story of a woman whose spirit was damaged by violence in her childhood and who meticulously planned her entire life for her vengeance and others who fall into the vortex.

Victims of school violence prefer a sincere apology from the attacker over monetary compensation. "I thought about what I would get from an apology, but I didn't want to get it, but I wanted to get it back," Kim Eun-sook stated after hearing this. Human dignity, honor, and grandeur are all lost in moments of violence. Only when you receive an apology can you go forward? She explained that the work's title was "The Glory"  in that she supported the victims' "state of origin."

The confrontation between Dong-eun and Yeon-jin will begin in earnest, and the story of the criminals being punished will unfold dramatically and eye-catching," said coach Ahn Gil-ho, adding, “All the bait will be recovered.”

Glory is an English term that means glory, honor, and prosperity. Writer Kim Eun-sook personally revealed the significance of the drama The Glory.

1. Plot of Drama ‘The Glory’

3. Planning Intention

According to writer Kim Eun-sook, the reason for organizing is" (I) am the parents of my daughter, who will be in her second year of high school. The issue of school violence was a hot topic. "We were discussing it that day," she explained.

She stated, "I was always concerned that I might attract undue attention as a result of my appearance. My kid then asked, 'When was Kim Eun-sook?' I was stunned, and my daughter inquired, "Do you think hitting me to death will hurt? Do you think being beaten to death will hurt?" It was a second surprise. "The Glory" is what began here, she explained.

According to writer Kim Eun-sook, school violence is a common theme, and the most stinging remarks heard when reading the victims' writings were, "You did nothing wrong?" "Therefore I thought, "Well, I didn't do anything wrong," and "Yeah, I didn't do anything wrong," should be seen as a goal," she explained, explaining Glory's motivation for writing.

4. Difference between a real character and a drama

"Beautiful puppies that stole everyone's attention," Netflix's official SNS account said. I made my decision. The video was presented with the statement "From now, my dream is you."

The video depicted the "The Glory" filming location, which caught attention with the appearance of an identity that heated up the warm environment.  In the drama, the primary character is Song Hye-dog kyo's and Park Jae-joon's dog (played by Park Sung-hoon).

First and foremost, Park Sung-hoon exhibited his love for his puppy with honey-dripping eyes during the game. He also piqued the owner's curiosity by asking, "How many kilograms is he?" and "May I feed him a snack?"

Song Hye-kyo, on the other hand, took her dog Ruby to the filming location and instructed her to "sit down," "down," and "wait." Outside of the camera, Song Hye-kyo's easygoing charisma welcomes her. Ruby processed the message quickly, adding to its cuteness.

"Ruby, I'm sorry," stated Lee Do-hyun. Come on in. There you have it! Then he began to feed me snacks. Ruby was in a rush when she was asked for a hand, so her mouth opened first, causing her to laugh. Despite the fact that "The Glory" was shot with the dark theme of school violence, the scene drew more attention because it was simply nice.

5. Digression

On January 11, 2023, an online group posted an article stating that the awful horrors in "The Glory" were based on the case of "school violence against middle school girls in Cheongju, Chungcheongbuk-do in the past.

Park Yeon-jin praised Moon Dong-eun's body in The Glory, saying she would verify whether the "curler" was heated, which astonished spectators. Park Yeon-jin did this in the drama because Moon Dong-eun reported school violence to the police, and the setting was proposed to be similar to the actual incident.

In "Cheongju Girls' Middle School Violence," three middle school seniors in Cheongju assaulted one of their classmates for 20 days, demanding money and committing brutal collective abuse if the victim did not comply. In the classroom, the offenders apparently used a curling iron to support the victim's arm, similar to the play.

"The temperature of the curling iron was checked every few days, so the wound was not healed, and even a 'conscious' punishment was inflicted to remove the cured scab with nails," the victim stated in an interview with a media source, adding, "It was painful enough to die." " Since then, one perpetrator, the major culprit of the incident, has been detained, while schools and teachers who failed to adequately manage classroom violence have reportedly been subject to administrative actions. Online users commented on the article by saying things like, "The school uniform in the drama is comparable to the present school uniform," and “Those born in 1991 from OO Middle School all know.”

Park Yeon-mother, jin's who enters and exits the shaman's house and commits horrific acts in the drama, was also discovered to be based on a true incident.

The pimp sisters, who managed a cushion house in Wonju, imprisoned and beat their employees in June 2022, shocking the victims by chaining them to prevent them from leaving, pouring boiling water on their bodies, and giving the urine.

According to investigators, the pimp sisters' younger sister worked as a shaman before running the cushion home, and one of the victims was a woman who was a new daughter who acquired Naeri-gut from her brother. In the name of shamanism study, the victim was offered "body care," which was prostitution. The girl has since been transported to a cushion house by the pimp sisters, where she has been badly abused.

The sisters were indicted on 16 crimes on June 23, 2022, including joint incarceration, joint assault, habitual assault, special assault, coercion, forced harassment, and comparable rape. At the time of arrest, the suspects disputed all charges but later confessed to all charges.
