4. Interview related to ‘The Glory Season2’

Q. I think you're married.

- I married in 2005 and gave birth to a daughter in 2012.

Q. You've been acting for 20 years; have you ever been rocked by meeting different parts and establishing a filmography by switching between the stage, the screen, and the cathode ray tube?

- I got lucky with the timing. The toddler arrived just when the game was becoming difficult. I don't believe I struggled because I had a natural break from labor and parenting. There was also a viewpoint during the break that might look at the area of 'play' more objectively. My primary stage was a play, therefore I only acted in the media when the play timetable and schedule coincided. Then, I expanded my scope to include media activities so that I could care for my child while also pursuing my acting career. I'm still plotting a play.

Q. What characters do you want to play as you pursue a career as an actor?

-The weight or volume of the role you play is unimportant if the job is good. I can't think of a specific role or character. Female characters with subjectivity and life pique my interest. It could be a character who already has subjectivity, one who expresses subjectivity while it is not subjective, or one who loses subjectivity. It doesn't matter which way it goes, but I think it's a good character to see the woman's past, present, and future changes so she can live her life at work.

Q: How do you feel about your role in “The Glory?”

I reflected on the brightness of this woman, who was born on pleasant days rather than dark ones. It is a character who made me think about what happened after the character rather than what happened before the character.
