TWS Smashes Sales Records Again with Latest Mini Album ‘TRY WITH US’
Rookie K-pop sensation TWS (신유, 도훈, 영재, 한진, 지훈, 경민) is setting new benchmarks yet again. The group’s third mini album, TRY WITH US, has sold an impressive 542,686 copies as of June 25, according to Hanteo Chart. This achievement surpasses the initial sales figures of their previous album, SUMMER BEAT!, which stood at 513,892 copies, in just five days.
With this feat, TWS has now cemented their reputation by achieving four consecutive half-million seller albums, solidifying their upward trajectory in the competitive K-pop scene.
The album’s title track, Isn’t It Cool to Follow Your Heart?, has captured hearts with its refreshing energy and vibrant sound. The music video quickly soared to No.1 on YouTube’s Trending chart, while the digital track clinched the No.2 spot on popular streaming platforms’ hot music rankings.
TWS also showcased their explosive performance skills on the KBS 2TV show, The Seasons – 박보검의 칸타빌레, where they passionately performed Isn’t It Cool to Follow Your Heart?. Displaying their trademark “power freshness” choreography and flawless live vocals, the group radiated youthful exuberance that left a strong impression on viewers.
They further electrified the atmosphere by performing fan-favorite hits First Meeting Doesn’t Go As Planned and If I’m S, You’re My N. Host Park Bo-gum praised them enthusiastically, saying, “Your performance was the embodiment of youth.”
During the interview segment, TWS members shared their bright personalities and warm interaction with Park Bo-gum, noting their shared experience as ambassadors for the same luxury brand. Youngest member Kyungmin, currently a high school senior, added a dose of charm by confessing his wish to visit a PC café late at night and enjoy “짜계치” once he becomes an adult.
Wrapping up the show, Park Bo-gum affectionately commented, “I want to protect you guys. Don’t run too fast. Let’s protect TWS!” eliciting smiles from fans and studio guests alike.
Moving forward, TWS is set to continue their comeback stages on June 26 on MBC’s Show! Music Core and June 27 on SBS’s Inkigayo. Notably, maknae Kyungmin will make a special appearance as co-MC alongside fellow TWS member Dohun during their Show! Music Core performance, promising a fun and lively show for fans.
