SEVENTEEN, composed of members S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino, has clinched their eighth music show trophy with their 5th full album, ‘HAPPY BURSTDAY’. On the 19th, they claimed the number one spot on Mnet’s ‘M Countdown’ with their title song ‘THUNDER’.

Previously, they had also won trophies without even appearing on broadcasts such as MBC’s ‘Show! Music Core’, demonstrating their enduring popularity and influence in the music scene.

Global Chart Domination

Since its release on the 26th of last month, ‘THUNDER’ has proven its staying power by consistently ranking high on major domestic and international music charts. It topped Melon’s ‘TOP 100’, Bugs’ real-time and daily charts, as well as entering the Circle Chart’s weekly digital section at number one and sustaining its position in the top ranks for three consecutive weeks.

Furthermore, the track has secured a spot on the ‘Billboard Global 200’ and the ‘Global (Excl. U.S.)’ charts for three consecutive weeks, marking SEVENTEEN’s global influence.

Unparalleled Album Sales

Not only have they excelled in digital domains, but their album ‘HAPPY BURSTDAY’ has recorded the highest initial sales for any K-pop album released this year. It also made its mark by charting for two consecutive weeks on the ‘Billboard 200’, achieving an impressive entry at number two, their highest ranking to date.

SEVENTEEN is not stopping at musical accolades. They continue to engage with their worldwide fanbase through various content. The complete version of ‘Nana’s Guesthouse with SEVENTEEN’ is set to be released today on Weverse, a global superfan platform.

Hoshi and Mingyu will also be appearing on SBS’s ‘While You’re Asleep’ airing on the 24th. The following day, fans can anticipate the return of ‘GOING SEVENTEEN’, often dubbed the ‘Infinite Challenge of K-pop’, ushering in a new season.
