Seventeen’s Final Adventure in ‘Nanamin Guesthouse’

On the last episode of ‘Nanamin Guesthouse with Seventeen‘ aired on October 16, fans were treated to a delightful display of sincerity and camaraderie. As the episode unfolded, Wonwoo and The8 eagerly took on the task of preparing the traditional Korean dish, ‘sagol gomtang’ (beef bone soup), proving their team name ‘Mugilryeokz’ (meaning ‘lethargic’) to be a mere irony. Throughout the day, S.Coups, Mingyu, and Dokyeom showcased their thoughtfulness by checking on the firewood late at night, ensuring the success of the dish.

The hearty soup, prepared with dedication, was a hit among the group members. Each one enjoyed the homemade flavor reminiscent of a warm family meal, sharing utterances like “It’s so delicious. It tastes like mom’s cooking.”

Unscripted Dance and Culinary Creations

After a fulfilling meal, the members took on a challenge: a ‘random play dance’ featuring their most popular hits. Despite worries like “I can never remember the choreography and formations,” their determination to win ingredients for a hot pot dinner saw them immersing wholeheartedly in the game. Dokyeom’s freewheeling dance moves sparked a humorous debate among the members whether it should be classified as creative expression or simply disarray. The playful antics resulted in laughter and a strong team spirit, evident as they seamlessly synchronized, making it a concert-like performance.

The highlight of the night was the ‘Nanamin Guesthouse’ special: a giant hot pot feast. With 30 servings worth of ingredients consumed swiftly, The8 impressed with his signature secret sauce and Joshua with homemade fish balls using shrimp meat, winning the members’ hearts and appetites.

A Heartwarming Farewell

In the backdrop of the tranquil guesthouse, Seventeen indulged in an electrifying dance party that offered viewers a refreshing escape. The episode also unveiled a noteworthy breakfast, with efforts from Na PD, accompanied by sous chefs Joshua, Jun, and Seungkwan. Joshua, deemed the ‘Nanamin’ chef, delighted with doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew) and jeyuk bokkeum (spicy stir-fried pork), while Jun’s Chinese pancakes adorned the table.

Seungkwan, in his ‘NAestro’ role, oversaw the culinary operations, creating an amusing dynamic throughout the breakfast preparation. As the final morning unfolded, the group members enjoyed their meal, extending gratitude and promising to meet again, leaving a heartfelt conclusion on a beloved show that brought much joy to both cast and viewers alike.
