The 2025 Sangmyung University Daedong Festival at the Seoul Campus concluded with enthusiastic acclaim. Titled ‘Wave to Us’, the festival was masterminded by Made in Heaven Agency, setting a benchmark as a true ‘festival for students’.
Star-Studded Stage Lighting Up the Event
On the 8th, renowned artists like Kim Hye-rim, Seo In-guk, and Lee Moo-jin took the stage, capturing the hearts of many. On the 9th, the likes of Chungha, Psy, and MAKTUB elevated the festival’s atmosphere. Psy’s performance particularly created a thrilling finale, drawing waves of energy from the audience.
Engaging Booths and Programs

Beyond performances, unique booths such as the ‘Spacing Out Contest’ and the ‘Campus Film Festival’, organized by students, offered fresh entertainment to both students and locals throughout the campus.
Transparent Budget and Planning
A unique aspect of this festival was the transparent budget, from artist booking to system rental. Made in Heaven Agency prioritized student satisfaction over profit, reducing distribution costs and achieving high quality within the same budget.
Sangmyung University officials expressed satisfaction with the transparency and diverse participation of artists. Notably, Seo In-guk’s talent donation without a fee highlighted the festival’s community spirit, a unique promotion only possible through Made in Heaven Agency.
Director Park Sang-min emphasized, “This festival is a cultural experience created by students, school, and the community. By transparently sharing budget processes, we enhanced quality, aiming to set a new standard for university festivals focused on genuine values.”
‘Wave to Us’ has left a lasting impression on students and the community, marking a new milestone for university festivals in 2025.
