Salon de Holmes Premieres with a Star-Studded Cast in a Thrilling Comic Mystery
ENA is set to launch its newest Monday-Tuesday drama Salon de Holmes on June 16 at 10 PM KST. Starring Lee Si-young, Jeong Yeong-joo, Kim Da-som, and Nam Gi-ae, this unique series unfolds in the lively backdrop of Gwangseon Joo Gong Apartments.
The show revolves around a group of four powerful women: master sleuth Gong Mi-ri (played by Lee Si-young), retired ace detective Chu Kyung-ja (Jeong Yeong-joo), information broker and part-time queen Park So-hee (Kim Da-som), and gossip holder Jeon Ji-hyun (Nam Gi-ae), a former insurance sales legend. The quartet forms a unique alliance to bring justice to their community, taking on local villains in a comedy-meets-action format labeled as “comic woman-power mystery”.
The drama is directed by Min Jin-ki, known for the success of the New Recruit series, and written by Kim Yeon-sin of My Husband’s Secret fame. Scripting support also comes from Ah Yung-jin, a lead writer from the Saturday Night Live series in Korea, adding comedic flair to the show’s tone.
Lee Si-young brings to life the genius and instinctive detective persona of Gong Mi-ri with fierce determination. Jeong Yeong-joo portrays a seasoned ex-cop ready for action. Kim Da-som‘s role as Park So-hee is spunky and bold, riding her motorcycle through the neighborhood, collecting critical intel. Nam Gi-ae rounds out the group as Jeon Ji-hyun, the all-knowing neighbor who holds the keys to every rumor in town.
Viewers can expect sensational chemistry from the cast, thrilling detective drama, and side-splitting moments of comedy. Salon de Holmes promises to deliver a perfect concoction of wit, warmth, and wildly entertaining storytelling as the dynamic female foursome takes on mysteries one villain at a time.
