Rising K-pop Sensation Kickflip Joins Summer Sonic Bangkok 2025 Lineup

Kickflip, the next-generation boy group from JYP Entertainment, will electrify the stage at Summer Sonic Bangkok 2025 this August. Set to take place on August 23–24 at the Impact Challenger Hall in Bangkok, the urban-style music festival marks one of the hottest music events in Asia.

Summer Sonic is a globally renowned city-based music festival that features an impressive roster of international artists. While it traditionally kicks off in Tokyo and Osaka on August 16–17, the momentum continues in Bangkok this year, expanding its reach and showcasing artists to a broader Asian audience.

Kickflip, composed of seven members–계훈, 아마루, 동화, 주왕, 민제, 케이주, and 동현–made a powerful debut with their album Flip it, Kick it! on January 20. Their high-energy title track Mama Said (뭐가 되려고?) quickly gained recognition, placing them on the radar as promising newcomers in K-pop. Their upcoming performance at Summer Sonic Bangkok underscores their growing influence and stage charisma.

Further adding to the global excitement, Kickflip recently announced their appearance at another major international festival, Lollapalooza Chicago, taking place from July 31 to August 3 at Grant Park in Illinois. The back-to-back inclusion in two of the industry’s largest music stages within just half a year of their debut is a testament to their rising international appeal.
