Lee Jung-jae Shows His Playful Side on tvN’s ‘Sisters’ Market Season 2′

Lee Jungjae surprises the cast of Sisters Market Season 2 on tvN showcasing his hardworking spirit

Lee Jung-jae, the globally renowned Korean actor, made a guest appearance on episode 3 of tvN’s variety show Sisters’ Market Season 2, which aired on the 27th. Joining regular cast members Yum Jung-ah, Park Joon-myeon, Lim Ji-yeon, and Lee Jae-wook, Lee showcased a different, down-to-earth side of himself during their adventure in Daegwallyeong, Gangwon-do.

The cast was astonished by the scale of an 8,000-pyeong dried pollack field, and Lee, disguised under a roasted chestnut hat, strategically plotted his guise as a labor worker to surprise the team. His prank was a success: shouts of “No, you can’t hang it there!” from Lee led to hilarious confusion before he finally revealed his identity, to everyone’s delight.

But the laughter quickly turned into hard labor. Together, they faced the grueling task of hanging 120 dried pollacks per rack. Lee Jung-jae worked tirelessly, helping the team without pause. His humorous complaint to Yum Jung-ah, “You’re not even talking, just working,” reminded everyone of the show’s lighthearted spirit.

During their much-needed snack break featuring steamed buns, buckwheat tea, and potato dumplings, playful chatter ensued. Lee Jae-wook couldn’t hide his admiration, saying how surreal it felt to be working alongside Lee Jung-jae. Lee also shared his bachelor-style cooking hack: topping a steamed bun with spicy radish salad for an instant flavor bomb.

Later, the group visited a natural sledding slope, where their childlike joy took over. Particularly excited were Lim Ji-yeon and Lee Jae-wook, while Lee Jung-jae and Yum Jung-ah embraced the winter fun with gleeful rides. Park Joon-myeon provided comic relief when her sled inadvertently came to an awkward stop, triggering laughter all around.

Returning to their stone-walled village, the team, now including Lee, prepared for dinner. Their menu boasted seasoned dried pollack and pork bone potato stew. Under Yum Jung-ah’s leadership, each member had cooking tasks: Park Joon-myeon boiled dried radish leaves, Lim kneaded dough for dumplings, Lee Jae-wook started a fire, and Lee Jung-jae, donning a classic padded jacket, diligently peeled potatoes and handled cleanup duties with care.

While preparing an enormous pot of pork bone stew, Lee was shocked by the amount, joking, “Are we feeding an army?” To which Lee Jae-wook playfully responded, “We’ll eat it all,” keeping the warm and humorous energy circulating throughout the evening.
