Korean Live Legend Lee Seung-chul Captivates Audiences with National Tour and TV Appearance
Veteran vocalist Lee Seung-chul, often hailed as Korea’s ‘Live Emperor,’ is experiencing enormous fan response as his nationwide concert tour continues with great momentum. Kicking off on March 8 in Sejong, the ‘Orchestrac 2’ concert has already delivered unforgettable performances across five cities, including a sold-out show in Uijeongbu on April 19.
Following the legacy of the original ‘Orchestrac’ concert held in 2010 to mark his 25th debut anniversary, ‘Orchestrac 2’ features a majestic blend of live band and orchestra performances. This year’s tour goes even further with elevated production values and a more dynamic structure, offering fans an immersive and emotionally heightened experience.
One of the key highlights of this tour is the implementation of a cutting-edge flying sound system, exclusive to Lee Seung-chul’s shows. Designed with multi-channel dimensionality, this audio setup guarantees a surround-sound experience that resonates powerfully no matter where you are seated in the venue. This technological upgrade has significantly enhanced concertgoers’ immersion and enjoyment.
Lee Seung-chul also made a recent television appearance on April 18 through the KBS 2TV music talk show ‘The Seasons – Park Bo-gum’s Cantabile’. He delivered heartfelt renditions of his most iconic songs, such as ‘My Love’, ‘내가 많이 사랑해요’, and ‘아마추어’, reminding audiences why he remains an undisputed icon in Korean music.
Notably, ‘내가 많이 사랑해요’ drew particular attention for its renewed popularity, as it was once famously performed with Park Bo-gum on piano during a 2020 episode of You Hee-yeol’s Sketchbook. The song’s revival is now sparking excitement and expectations for a chart comeback.
As he approaches his 40th anniversary in the industry, Lee Seung-chul is solidifying his title as Korea’s leading live artist. Upcoming tour stops include Daegu, Cheonan, Ulsan, Daejeon, Jeonju, Gunpo, Suwon, and Incheon, promising more nights of musical brilliance.
Tickets for the 2025 ‘Orchestrac 2’ national concert tour can be reserved through Ticket Link and Interpark Ticket.
