On October 12, former singer turned entrepreneur Junhee Kim took to her Instagram to express her thoughts on diet and fitness. Having spent years managing her body, Kim emphasized that what truly matters in building a desirable body is not exercise but diet.
“It’s essential to recognize that the biggest factor in shaping your body is what you eat,” Kim shared. “If you only focus on exercising without paying attention to your diet, becoming a healthy pig is just a matter of time. Remember, what you consume is what constructs your body.”
#### Dietary Tips for a Slim Body
Kim further advised, “If you desire a slim body, start by jotting down everything you eat throughout the day. If your list includes any of the following: soda, sugary drinks, fruit, bread, noodles, fried food, or late-night snacks, try eliminating these items before you consider skipping meals or doing anything else.” She highlighted that cutting out even just sugary drinks could result in a weight loss of 3 kg while still consuming all the regular foods.
#### Opt for Quality Fat
Instead of falling for common dietary traps, Kim recommended incorporating high-quality fats: “It’s easier to lose weight by consuming dishes made with top-tier butter, olive oil, and quality meats like beef or pork. Pair these with moderate carbohydrates and boiled vegetables full of minerals and vitamins for the best effect.”
Kim concluded by affirming, “Our body changes according to what we eat, and that’s a truth that won’t change. Don’t forget to keep this in mind.”
