Cravity Sets the Stage Ablaze with ‘SET NET GO?!’

Cravity is back in the spotlight, aiming to claim the title of K-pop’s Summer Kings with the release of their second full album, Dare to Crave. The band members expressed their aspirations during a press conference held at Starship Entertainment’s headquarters in Seoul, where they discussed their latest endeavors and the electrifying title track, ‘SET NET GO?!’. This track is a powerful blend of dreamy pluck synth sounds, bold basslines, and addictive vocals, perfectly encapsulating the youthful energy and freedom of Cravity.

The Fresh Breeze of Cravity’s Summer Sound

Hyungjun, a member of Cravity, shared, “Our music will be a refreshing escape for fans struggling with the summer heat. We’ve put in hard work into our performance, and I believe fans will appreciate the new expressions we’ve incorporated.” Another member, Wonjin, added that the lyrics emphasize themes of rock and pop stardom, revealing, “That was the inspiration behind the sunglasses photo we shared on social media.”

Personal Aspirations Aligning with the Album’s Themes

The album title, Dare to Crave, fittingly sets the stage for each member’s personal aspirations. Serim spoke of his desire to share self-produced tracks with fans, a goal he’s now been able to accomplish. Meanwhile, Allen explained his pride in the collective efforts of the group, making this album credit special. “Being active in the summer and aspiring to become the ‘Summer Kings’ of K-pop is a thrilling challenge,” he asserted.

The Band’s Small Desires and Aspirations

As for the smaller, personal desires of the members, Wonjin mentioned, “As we enter our sixth year, we aim to distinguish ourselves not just as cover artists but as a uniquely versatile unit of Cravity.” Serim shared an amusing anecdote about his participation in ‘Kick a Goal’ where he hasn’t scored yet. “Though wearing the number 7, I haven’t scored yet, but once I do, a special celebration featuring the dance from our unit song ‘Marionette’ is promised,” he jested. Wonjin expressed a keen interest in baseball reality shows, saying he’ll join given an opportunity.

Future Performances and Musical Growth

Jungmo shared his childhood passion for guitar, mentioning personal growth and current lessons leading to the goal of performing live, playing guitar and singing. Cravity’s second full album stands as a testament not only to larger ambitions but also the minor yet meaningful personal goals achieved along the way. Taeyeong believes this project represents a “turning point” promising an enhanced rebranding of the group.

Album Release Details

This anticipation culminates with the release of Dare to Crave on various music platforms on September 23rd at 6 PM, adding momentum to Cravity’s ongoing vibrant journey.
