Boy Next Door sets new sales milestone with No Genre and dominates streaming charts in Korea and Japan

Rising K-pop group Boy Next Door has set a new personal record with their latest EP ‘No Genre’. According to data released today (20th) by Hanteo Chart, the group sold a staggering 1,166,419 copies of the album in its first week, from June 13 to 19. This figure surpasses the first-week sales of their previous EP ‘19.99’, which sold 759,156 copies, marking an impressive 1.5x growth.

‘No Genre’ reached the 1 million mark within just five days of its release, highlighting Boy Next Door’s explosive growth in popularity among K-pop audiences. The momentum continues on streaming platforms as well.

The EP’s title track ‘I Feel Good’ quickly climbed the Melon Top 100 chart just a day after its release. It continues to soar in popularity alongside the group’s previous digital single ‘Today, I LOVE YOU’, which dropped earlier in January.

Boy Next Door is also gaining traction internationally. In Japan, ‘No Genre’ topped the Oricon Daily Album Ranking for two consecutive days (June 14 and 15). The title track ‘I Feel Good’ remains in the top tier of Japan’s Line Music Daily Song Top 100, further proving their global appeal.

Currently, the group is engaging in intense promotional activities across various platforms including music shows, radio programs, and YouTube content, signaling a successful comeback season.
