SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi and Woozi Stir Up Culinary Chaos on JTBC’s ‘Please Take Care of My Refrigerator’

Kpop idols SEVENTEENs Hoshi and Woozi join Please Take Care of My Refrigerator for epic culinary showdown

K-pop giant SEVENTEEN continues to dominate screens, this time stepping into the culinary spotlight with Hoshi and Woozi appearing on Joongang Tongyang Broadcasting Company (JTBC)’s hit variety show Please Take Care of My Refrigerator. Airing tonight at 9 PM KST, the fresh episode specially celebrates SEVENTEEN’s 10th debut anniversary with an intense gourmet battle.

The episode kicks off with Woozi stunning viewers with his unexpected appetite. He confesses, “I need to eat six burgers or four to five ramen bowls to feel full,” revealing his hidden foodie side. More surprising was his deep culinary knowledge – from commenting on texture techniques to advising on low-heat cooking, Woozi earns admiration from the show’s veteran chefs.

The first competition centers around Hoshi’s love for fermented flavors, specifically kimchi. Celebrity chefs Kim So-hee and Fabrizio Ferrari (also known as Fabri) go head-to-head in a kimchi-themed cook-off. When Kim So-hee boasts that she eats kimchi separately even with kimchi stew, Fabri counters with, “I’m a global ambassador for kimchi,” bringing tension into the kitchen.

As the match heats up, Fabri astonishes everyone by blending Korean and Western cuisines in unpredictable ways. Chef Kim Poong gasps, “He’s definitely gone over the line,” while Kwon Sung-joon jokes, “Fabri can’t go back to Italy now,” causing bursts of laughter throughout the studio.

The final dish prepared by Fabri, who previously judged international kimchi contests, holds much curiosity. The stakes gets even higher in the follow-up round – a showdown promising that the winning chef’s restaurant will host SEVENTEEN’s next group dinner. With Hoshi revealing that a past team dinner once cost 10 million KRW (about $7,300), Chef Yoon Nam-no and Kwon Sung-joon pour their hearts into creating meaningful dishes that reflect SEVENTEEN’s journey.

Both chefs present heartfelt plates infused with SEVENTEEN’s history and flavor, making it nearly impossible to predict who the stars will choose. Fans can catch this gourmet showdown and plenty of witty banter from Hoshi and Woozi on Please Take Care of My Refrigerator, airing tonight on JTBC.
