Lee Young-ji Battles for Digital Detox Time in tvN’s Hit Show
Rapper and entertainer Lee Young-ji is on a mission — a noodle mission. In this week’s episode of tvN’s hit variety show Earth Arcade 3 (뿅뿅 지구오락실3), she takes on a once-in-a-lifetime ramen cooking battle, with major stakes on the line. The show recently ranked No.6 in Gallup Korea’s May 2025 survey of the most beloved television programs, and it topped all other entertainment shows in popularity.
In Episode 5, airing today, the cast continues their intense 70-hour digital detox, where no cell phones are allowed. Lee Young-ji enters a ramen cook-off against a master ramen chef from the show’s production team. The winner gains or loses digital detox time: if Lee wins, 48 hours are subtracted from her detox; if she loses, 24 hours are added, making her detox stretch to a staggering 94 hours.
The noodle war pits Lee’s authentic “original” style against the crew’s modern fusion twist. Another highlight: the cast plays the “Easy-to-Read Heart” game, where three members attempt to guess the answer of one teammate. This mind-reading challenge highlights attention, emotional intelligence, and insider knowledge. A major question is posed: what would An Yu-jin choose to do on her solo day during a 15-night Europe family trip? Viewers are in for surprises and laughs.
