Global K-pop sensation G-DRAGON (real name Kwon Ji-yong) has officially entered the beverage industry with the launch of his first-ever alcoholic product under his fashion brand Peace Minus One. The ‘Peace Minus One Highball’ was released on May 30, following months of speculation across social media.

Initially revealed on May 28 via Peace Minus One’s Instagram (@peaceminusonedotcom), the highball represents the brand’s maiden venture into alcoholic beverages, after years of high-profile collaborations with leading luxury brands worldwide. The packaging showcases a unique pattern inspired by the brand’s name, personally designed by G-DRAGON.

This latest launch comes alongside the artist’s deepening engagement in futuristic and tech-driven projects. On the same day, G-DRAGON shared a preview of content developed by AI entertainment tech company Galaxy Corporation on his personal Instagram (@xxxibgdrgn). The content embraces a cosmic theme and connects to a broader narrative, including the ‘HOME SWEET HOME’ music video powered by Azure OpenAI Sora, a KAIST and Microsoft collaborative project. It also ties in with a NASA SETI-aligned cosmic music transmission project, positioning G-DRAGON himself as a creative force landing from space.

The Peace Minus One Highball is a wine-based lemon drink tailored to G-DRAGON’s refined tastes—it’s known he is a wine enthusiast. Featuring a fresh lemon slice shaped like the brand’s signature daisy motif, the product is crafted for easy everyday enjoyment with a modest alcohol content of 4.5%.

The limited edition launch includes exactly 880,000 cans in a nod to G-DRAGON’s birth year (1988) and his affinity for the number 8. The drink is manufactured by the rising canned cocktail producer and is now available at CU convenience stores across South Korea.
