ILLIT’s ‘Lucky Girl Syndrome’ Surpasses 150 Million Streams on Spotify

Kpop group ILLITs Lucky Girl Syndrome surpasses 150 million Spotify streams worldwide

Emerging K-pop sensation ILLIT has soared past a major milestone, securing their second 100-million-stream hit on Spotify. As of May 27, their breakout B-side track ‘Lucky Girl Syndrome’ from their debut mini album ‘Super Real Me’ has accumulated over 151.93 million plays, according to the global music platform.

This achievement follows the success of their debut title track ‘Magnetic’, marking yet another significant step in ILLIT’s impressive early career. A Dance Pop anthem, ‘Lucky Girl Syndrome’ captivates listeners with its playful whistle theme and conveys ILLIT’s trademark positivity and quirky charm. The song celebrates the mindset of believing in one’s own good fortune — a hallmark of ILLIT’s youthful energy and optimistic narrative.

The track has gained international traction. NME, a prestigious UK music publication, spotlighted ‘Lucky Girl Syndrome’ as one of the “15 Best K-pop Songs of 2024.” They praised it as “a charming stroll through a dream where everything falls perfectly into place,” adding that “the tight production and the members’ lively delivery cast a delightful spell of positivity.”

Capitalizing on their momentum, ILLIT will hold their first-ever fan concert, ‘2025 ILLIT Glitter Day in Seoul’, on June 7-8 at Olympic Hall, Songpa-gu, Seoul. Following that, they will take to Japan, with shows scheduled for August 10-11 at Pia Arena MM, Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, and September 3-4 at Osaka Castle Hall.

As ILLIT continues to resonate with fans across the globe with their bright melodies and infectious spirit, their growing popularity is a testament to K-pop’s ever-expanding global influence.
