K-Drama Stars Take Aim at Adventure and Laughter on Netflix’s ‘Churai Churai’

Netflix’s latest unscripted hit, Churai Churai, is making waves as K-drama stars Park Ji-hoon and Yoo Soo-bin light up the screen with unexpected revelations and hilarious charm. The talk show, hosted by MMA fighter Choi Sung-hoon, showcases celebrity guests tackling their ultimate bucket list dreams—Korean-style.

This week’s episode features the charismatic stars of the upcoming series Weak Hero Class 2, premiering May 25. Park Ji-hoon steps into the spotlight at a firing range, revealing a long-held dream of joining the Marine Corps Reconnaissance unit. “I’ve always been into military gear. I’ve collected gas guns and only play shooting games,” Park confessed. Obviously passionate, he still hasn’t served in the military—a topic humorously explored during the episode.

His co-star, Yoo Soo-bin, who served as a mortar artilleryman, playfully disagreed. “After the army, you won’t even want to look at a gun again,” he said, sparking laughter. Host Choi Sung-hoon chimed in with a joke about marriage, heightening the comedic tension as all three burst into awkward laughter.

Park, who plays the wounded prodigy Yeon Si-eun in Weak Hero Class 2, reflected on skipping out on normal school moments due to his early start in showbiz. Unleashing his inner child, he broke into a Popping Dance performance, reminiscent of a school talent show. For an encore, he taught the audience his iconic cute gesture “Saving it in my heart,” followed hilariously by Choi attempting the move himself—adding unexpected doses of cuteness to the bro-heavy setting.

The duo then faced off against Choi Sung-hoon and comedian Lee Chang-ho in an air pistol showdown. The twist? Only the winning team would earn the chance to promote their drama. Team “Non-combatant,” Park and Choi, went head-to-head with team “Veteran,” Yoo and Lee. Thanks to a razor-thin victory, Park and Yoo earned the promo spotlight with pride.

Churai Churai is produced by Kakao Entertainment and directed by Kwon Dae-hyeon, previously known for unveiling the human side of stars in Truth or Trap: Elegant Life. New episodes stream every Wednesday at 5 PM KST exclusively on Netflix.
