BLACKPINK’s Rosé Nabs Two Nominations at the 2025 American Music Awards

BLACKPINK member Rosé has officially earned two nominations for the upcoming 2025 American Music Awards (AMAs), adding another major milestone to her already impressive global career. On June 23 (local time), the AMAs revealed its candidate list through its official website, placing Rosé in two highly competitive categories.

Rosé landed a nod in the coveted Collaboration of the Year category for her hit single APT, a sensational duet with U.S. pop sensation Bruno Mars. This nomination pits her against some of the biggest names in the industry, including Taylor Swift & Post Malone‘s “Fortnite,” Lady Gaga & Bruno Mars‘s “Die with a Smile,” and “Luther” by Kendrick Lamar and Caesar.

In addition, Rosé is competing for the title of Favorite K-Pop Artist alongside fellow Korean powerhouses such as BTS’s RM and Jimin, Stray Kids, and ATEEZ. The competition highlights the growing dominance and relevance of K-pop in the Western music market.

The American Music Awards — one of the top three U.S. music award shows alongside the Grammy Awards and Billboard Music Awards — selects its winners based on various metrics, including streaming data, album and single sales, radio airplay, and tour revenue. The 2025 edition of the ceremony is scheduled to take place in Las Vegas on July 26.

Rosé’s dual nominations further confirm her status as a global pop icon, blending star power, talent, and cross-cultural appeal in a way that few artists in the world can replicate.
