The ambitious trip spanned 2,500 miles, beginning in California and winding through eight states to reach Michigan. The journey was primarily for Rosco, who loves swimming in Lake Michigan but battles a rare cancer, T-Zone lymphoma.
Overcoming Challenges
Early in the trip, Rosco experienced allergies but quickly stabilized thanks to Daniel’s attentive care. Daniel also managed to balance his attention between the spirited Juliete and Rosco, noting how Juliete seemed to sense Rosco’s condition, sympathetically giving him space during his medication. The bond between the two dogs was a touching aspect of the journey.
A Meaningful Documentary
Henney’s documentary, co-directed with Kim Sun-Hyung, ‘Do What You Want, Rosco’, captures the deeper narratives of living with pets, emphasizing the responsibility and love involved in their care.
