ZEROBASEONE to Perform at Asia Star Entertainer Awards 2025 in Yokohama

Continuing their meteoric rise in the K-pop world, ZEROBASEONE will join the stellar lineup of the Asia Star Entertainer Awards 2025 (ASEA 2025), set to take place on May 28 and 29 at K-Arena Yokohama, Japan. The official announcement was made by the ASEA organizing committee on May 12.

The group—comprising Sung Han-bin, Kim Ji-woong, Zhang Hao, Seok Matthew, Kim Tae-rae, Ricky, Kim Gyu-bin, Park Gun-wook, and Han Yu-jin—solidified their place as a top-tier K-pop act with their mini album Cinema Paradiso released in August 2023 and their follow-up Blue Paradise in February 2024. Both albums surged past the one million sales mark, making ZEROBASEONE the only K-pop group to achieve five consecutive million-selling albums from debut.

In addition to their record-breaking album sales, ZEROBASEONE reached new heights globally. Their mini album Blue Paradise debuted at No. 28 on the Billboard 200, marking the highest chart entry for a 5th generation K-pop group. Over in Japan, their debut Japanese EP PREZENT topped the Oricon Weekly Albums and Combined Albums charts. In March, the group also received the ‘Best New Asian Artist’ award at the 39th Japan Gold Disc Awards.

This international acclaim testifies to ZEROBASEONE’s growing status as a ‘next-generation global top-tier’ group. Their rise has also been bolstered by their global fanbase through their first world tour, TIMLESS WORLD, attended by over 140,000 fans across eight cities including Seoul, Singapore, Bangkok, Manila, Jakarta, Macau, Aichi, and Kanagawa.

The Asia Star Entertainer Awards is a leading music award show that brings together fan-beloved artists and global audiences through music. For its second edition in 2025, the event boasts a star-studded lineup featuring standout K-pop and Asian acts, recognizing the past year’s most impactful performers.

The opening night on May 28 is packed with top-tier performers including AESPA, ENHYPEN, NCT WISH, NEWJEANS, NMIXX, and more, with THE BOYZ’s Juyeon and IVE’s Rei hosting, joined by actor Jang Geun-suk presenting the grand prize.

The May 29 lineup includes BTOB, (G)I-DLE, Jo Yu-ri, Sakurazaka46, SKY-HI, THE BOYZ, and others. Actor Kim Hye-yoon, Monsta X’s Hyungwon, and THE BOYZ’s Younghoon will serve as MCs, with actor Byun Woo-seok presenting the evening’s grand prize. Fellow actors Choo Young-woo and singer-actress Jo Yu-ri will also take part as award presenters.
