‘Your Taste’ Hits No.2 on Netflix Global TV Shows – A Korean Culinary Romance Takes Over

Korean drama Your Taste climbs Netflix rankings with global success across 23 countries

The Korean series ‘Your Taste’, originally aired on Genie TV and now streaming globally via Netflix, has taken the world by storm. According to the OTT ranking site FlixPatrol on the 15th, the culinary-driven drama scored a total of 588 points, placing it at No.2 in the Netflix global TV show rankings.

The show secured the No.1 position in 23 countries including Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, and Thailand. In its country of origin South Korea, the show landed at No.2, while it held the 7th spot in the United States – signaling a major global appeal for this uniquely flavorful drama.

Despite modest local viewership ratings in Korea with just 2% for its second ENA episode, the show’s Netflix release propelled its popularity into the global spotlight.

‘Your Taste’ centers on Han Beom-woo (played by Ha Neul Kang), a cold-blooded chaebol heir determined to inherit his family’s food conglomerate by buying out a small, no-name bistro in Jeonju. There he clashes with strong-minded chef Mo Yeon-joo (played by Go Min-si), who runs the one-table restaurant. What begins as a hostile kitchen rivalry transforms into an endearing romantic growth story — spiced with intense recipe wars and sweet, chaotic culinary battles.

The cast also features Kim Shin-rok, Yoo Soo-bin, Bae Na-ra, and Hong Hwa-yeon, delivering a delicious blend of drama, humor, and romance. Viewers around the world are resonating with the show’s blend of business ambition, traditional flavors, and heartfelt human connections, making ‘Your Taste’ a new fan-favorite in the K-drama space.
