YOUNGTAK Celebrates 41st Birthday with Music, Philanthropy, and Deep Fan Love
Korean singer YOUNGTAK recently celebrated his 41st birthday on May 13, marking a momentous milestone in both his personal life and professional journey. With 18 years in the music industry, he has become a multifaceted entertainer known not only for his work in music but also for his TV appearances, philanthropic efforts, and a heartfelt bond with his fandom.
Originally debuting in 2007 with the single ‘사랑한다 (I Love You)’, YOUNGTAK transitioned into the trot genre, finding widespread success. Songs like ‘누나가 딱이야 (You’re Just My Type)’, and his second-place finish on the 2020 show 내일은 미스터트롯 (Mr. Trot), significantly boosted his popularity.
His infectious hits such as ‘찐이야 (It’s Real)’, ‘니가 왜 거기서 나와 (Why Are You There?)’, and ‘전복 먹으러 갈래 (Want Abalone?)’ have consistently ranked high on digital charts. His most recent success includes the OST ‘알 수 없는 인생 (Mysterious Life)’ for the drama Please Take Care of the 5 Eagle Brothers, which topped major music charts as well.
YOUNGTAK’s influence extends beyond entertainment. Joined by his passionate fan club YOUNGTAK & BLUES (YOUNGBLS), he actively engages in charitable work. He has donated over 100 million KRW for wildfire recovery projects and participated in numerous community service initiatives.
On May 10 and 11, he held his first solo fan concert titled YOUNGTAK PARK, which sold out entirely. The theme, “Let’s Be Together Forever,” reflected his ongoing dedication to his supporters who have stood by him for nearly two decades.
As a birthday message, YOUNGTAK shared on social media: “Happy Birthday, my YOUNGBLS,” showcasing his sincere appreciation. Moreover, on May 12, he posted a celebratory story to commemorate the 1st anniversary of YOUNGBLS, further emphasizing his bond with fans. The handwritten message, “HAPPY YOUNGBLS DAY. Thank you always,” captured hearts across platforms.
As he steps further into his 40s, YOUNGTAK shows no signs of slowing down, with plans for more albums, TV appearances, and live performances. His journey, built on talent, kindness, and connection, sets the stage for an even brighter decade ahead.
