Some of the conditions in these meetings involved allowing me to continue my activities with 2PM. However, there were quite a few companies that didn’t like this condition, suggesting that if I were to continue, I should retire as a singer and fully transition into acting,” he reflected.

He highlighted the encouraging words from the current agency’s CEO, stating, “The CEO mentioned, ‘You can continue your music. So Ji-sub is doing it too.’ This was reassuring,” he said, eliciting laughter from the audience.

So Ji-sub, seated next to Taecyeon, shared his thoughts on his musical endeavors. “There are reasons I enjoy hip-hop and singing,” he said, laughing. “During fan meetings, I want to perform songs, but I’m slightly tone-deaf,” he admitted humorously. He continued, “Singing songs by other artists made me want to share my stories, leading to many of my own songs. I exclusively perform these only in front of my fans.”

He humorously added, “Currently, I have nine albums. I’m kind of thinking of rounding it up to ten,” sparking further laughter with his wit.
