‘Weak Hero Class 2’ Dominates Korea’s Streaming Charts Thanks to Park Ji-hoon

Over the last week of April, ‘Weak Hero Class 2’, starring Park Ji-hoon, surged to the top of Korea’s most dynamic entertainment ranking, the WatchaPedia HOT 10. This chart compiles data from various metrics such as ratings, search volume, “want to watch” counts, and comments, derived from Watcha’s vast content rating platform and other major Korean portals.

Debuting on April 25 as a Netflix Original Series, ‘Weak Hero Class 2’ wasted no time climbing to number one during the final week of April. An adaptation of the webtoon of the same name, the series follows Yeon Si-eun (Park Ji-hoon), a model student transferred to a new school while grappling with trauma from previously failing to protect a friend. The story portrays his brutal battles against violence and his journey of personal growth intertwined with intense survival drama.
