WayV Takes the Stage at China’s Biggest Music Festival and Heads to North America Next
Global K-pop sensation WayV is set to ignite stages across Asia and North America, kicking off May with a highly-anticipated appearance at China’s largest music event, the Strawberry Music Festival. The group is scheduled to perform in Dongguan on May 2nd and Beijing on May 4th, captivating thousands of fans with their dynamic sound and choreography.
Since its launch in 2009, the Strawberry Music Festival has earned a reputation as China’s biggest and most diverse music festival, attracting international artists and local top performers alike. WayV’s participation further cements their growing global footprint and their unique appeal to global and regional audiences.
The performance will feature four members — Kun, Xiaojun, Hendery, and Yangyang — and will include some of the group’s most iconic tracks like “FREQUENCY (超?率)”, “Give Me That”, and “Kick Back”. Fans will also be treated to powerful unit stages, including “Back To You”, a vocal duet by Kun and Xiaojun, and the high-energy rap showcase “RODEO (冒?行?)” by Hendery and Yangyang.
WayV’s journey doesn’t stop in China. On May 9th, the group is set to perform in Mexico City, followed by a show in Los Angeles on May 11th for SMTOWN LIVE 2025.
