Voting Opens for the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards Prizm Popularity Award

The 61st Baeksang Arts Awards has officially kicked off the race for the Prizm Popularity Award, inviting fans from around the globe to vote for their favorite stars in both television and film categories.

According to the Baeksang Arts Awards Committee, voting began on April 23 at 12:00 p.m. KST and will continue until May 2 at 4:00 p.m. KST. The selection includes 35 male and 35 female nominees chosen from the broadcast and film divisions. The top-voted male and female stars will each receive the prestigious Prizm Popularity Award.

Last year’s Prizm Popularity Award voting via the Prizm App saw over 11 million votes, setting a new record for the highest vote count in three years. Organizers expect this year’s competition to be just as fierce with heightened fan engagement.

Voting is hosted exclusively on the Prizm App, a global retail media platform that goes beyond traditional fan interaction. Users can submit up to four free votes daily, with votes refreshing at midnight each day. By sharing the vote verification page once, users can gain two additional votes.

In appreciation of fan participation, 70 daily winners will be selected via lottery from April 23 for seven days and will receive in-person admission tickets to the Baeksang Arts Awards. Winners will be announced each day at 4 p.m. via the notice section on the Prizm app’s homepage.

The 61st Baeksang Arts Awards, hosted by Shin Dong-yup, Suzy, and Park Bo-gum, celebrates excellence in South Korea’s entertainment industry.
