"You don't think you'll be a model because you're an actor?" Jang Ki-yong asked. Absolutely not. Both positions are appealing. I'd like to do it all at once. So Cha Seung Won is my inspiration. 1. Who is Jang Ki-yong?

Jang Ki-yong was born as a youngster to former volleyball players his father and his mother. He has been so quiet since childhood that he is frightened of speaking in front of others and attracting attention.

He was known in school for being a quiet child, and he was also known as "Jjanggi" in high school. Jang Ki-yong occasionally wanders for a bit during his school days. Fortunately, he came to after being severely reprimanded by his own brother. Of course, I had goals of becoming a doctor or a teacher when I was younger, but I gradually abandoned them because my grades couldn't keep up, and I reasoned that I should acquire a job after graduating from high school.

As college admission examinations loomed, I considered my future options, asking myself, "What do I want to do?" I was enthralled by the job of modeling after viewing a fashion show video of model Lee Soo-hyuk and a program called "Seven Models" while I was in my second year of high school. Jang Ki-yong will begin studying for the acting entrance exam in his third year of high school.

He will pass the musical theater department of Yongin University on a regular basis after preparing for the entrance exams at a competitive rate of 100 to 1.

His parents, however, first opposed his future in the entertainment industry, stating, "There must be many tall, small faces, white, and gorgeous youngsters, so what would you do there?" Jang Ki-yong, on the other hand, travels to Seoul with confidence in himself.

I wasn't sure it would work out, but I traveled to Seoul alone at the age of 20 expecting to have a good time. Jang Ki-yong will make his modeling debut in 2012 at the Seoul Fashion Week S/S 'General Idea Collection' stage. It was a very scary first runway stage, but I finished it with the thinking "Let's not collapse while walking," Jang Ki-yong was wearing braces at the time, and few models wore braces, so I was concerned about future modeling.

Jang Ki-yong, who could only stand on one show a day during his debut, was envious of his seniors who could perform 12 shows a day, but he overcame it with more positive thoughts, and, contrary to his fears, fashion industry officials were fascinated in the image of a youngster sporting braces.

However, approximately a year after his debut as a model, he began to feel the need for image transformation after being told, "Jang Ki-yong can only do a boyish image," and rehearsed postures and facial expressions by watching pictorials and films recorded by international models similar to his image. Furthermore, when the braces that were worn in conjunction with weight management were withdrawn, the angle on the long-term face was resurrected, and the manly image began to be buried, and many conceptions, other than the boy image, began to emerge. Jang Ki-yong has now become a well-known model, earning the Fashion Model Award at the 2014 Asian Model Awards and the Best Dresser in the Male Model category at the 2015 Korea Best Dresser Swan Awards.

However, Jang Ki-yong, who thought standing on the runway was a form of acting at the time, had a brief appearance in the drama "It's Okay, I Love You" in 2014 and launched his acting career.

2. What is Jang Ki-yong's Personality?

He stated that his personality is quite quiet and introverted, but on stage, he appears to have a power that he is unaware of, and he appears to have a new side of himself that actively changes.

He stated, "In actuality, I enjoy playing pranks and having a good time.  But I usually get a kick out of expressing myself as a character I don't have. There is no excitement if you perform the same character every time.  I consider acting to be a game of my mind "he added, showing his love of acting.

In an interview with 'WWW,' actor Jang Ki-yong remarked, "Among the characters I've played thus far, I believe it is the most like my own personality.  He appears forthright at first, but when approached, he/she appears to be a prankster "he stated.  
According to Jang Ki-yong, "I couldn't even express myself adequately when I was younger since I was passive and introverted. A child of this caliber opted to become a model.  I also wanted to model in Seoul rather than the provinces (Ulsan). Since I was doing it, I wanted to do it right.  That was my first act of bravery in my life "He stated.

He played Sam in the SBS drama "It's Okay, It's Love" in 2014. He plays the role of Lee Sung-boyfriend. kyung's Lee Kwang-soo, who comes out with him, likes Lee Sung-kyung, and the three form a triangle. She starred as a badro in the Chosun TV drama Best Marriage in 2014. She worked at a theater company for 50,000 won each week before becoming Cho Eun-urgent ji's husband on the recommendation of a senior theater firm. He starred as Ahn Chae-joon in the JTBC drama "Seonam Girls' High School Detective Team" in 2014. It originally appeared in episode 4 and resembled Guillaume Patry of the Abnormal Talks.

He played Lee Seok-tae in the JTBC drama "Dear Eun Dong-a" in 2015. He is the time's biggest star, but he is a free spirit who generated social uproar and joined as a public servant. He played Seo Hyun-woo in the web drama "We Broke Up" in 2015. He eventually landed his first leading part. It has a small chemistry with Sandara Park and gets 1 million views per episode on average. From May to July of the same year, he starred in "Come and Hug Me," his first major role on terrestrial television. The work's audience rating was not very high due to its powerful opponent, but the quality of the work and his acting skills were favorably received. He earned the men's excellence award at the MBC Acting Awards that year, and the men's rookie acting award in the TV category at the 55th Baeksang Arts Awards the following year.

4. ‘The Bad Guys: Reign of Chaos’ Interview 

Q. Did you enjoy The Bad Guys: Reign of Chaos?

-It's an animal fable about an investigator and a tiger, and men's strength is melted. I felt I could exhibit precise activities on a much greater scale if the drama was converted into a movie while watching it at the time, but I was really thrilled to hear the news about the production of “BThe Bad Guys: Reign of Chaos.” What I predicted actually happened! Its key distinguishing feature since its first appearance is a character who can demonstrate a completely different action style than the previous one. I was avaricious.

Q.Did you receive any compliments from the Seoul Action School, which you attended two months before the shoot?

No way, no how! (laughs) The first month was nothing but a curse. Despite his previous experience as a detective in the drama "Come and Hug Me," he was chastised, "Why are you so rigid, a stick, and why is the youngest like a grandfather?" When I hear statements like those, it motivates me to strive harder. He was able to overcome the challenges after a month by saying, "The picture is coming out." I believe I will be able to perform more challenging activities the next time.

Q.In just a few years, you rose to prominence as a prominent actor.

-The drama "Confession Couple" directors Ha Byung-hoon and Jang Na-ra were extremely helpful. They provided me with terrific acting advice and CPR when I was on the verge of death. I've been thinking a lot about the character I portray since then. I gained confidence by learning how to relax in front of the camera and play a different character than Jang Ki-yong. Regardless matter how much I like the drama "My Mister," I was a sucker for the character. Lee Kwang-il was able to engage with viewers when his traumatic story was disclosed, despite the opening violence.

Q. If The first film is The Bad Guys: Reign of Chaos. If there's a specific genre you'd like to shoot in the future.

- I remember seeing "Taegukgi" (2003) with my father and brother when I was younger. Perhaps because I had my own brother, I became more involved in the drama and cried. If I get the chance, I'd like to do a war film like this. I'd like to play the North Korean People's Army in a highly strong genre. Realistic romance films that avoid fantasy and profound melodrama, such as "Temperature of Love" (2012), are also appealing. The main purpose is to test as many characters as possible.
