1. Introduction

He was a former businessman and actor from South Korea.

His manly thick line and monolids give off a rather sharp impression of him, but when he smiles, a surprising charm emerges that appears quite soft.

He has therefore taken on various roles and is loved for his outstanding acting abilities.

He spent his middle school years studying art and film in Chicago, Illinois, and acting for ten years in Canada, and came to Korea due to the expiration of his visa.

2. Background

Son Seok-Koo is said to have studied abroad in the United States as a young person because of his quiet personality.

Added Son Seok-Koo, "I find it amazing to see myself now. Even though I'm not as shy now that I think about it, I used to be terribly so. Even on weekends, I always stayed home after school. My dad was very worried. Then I decided to make a change, so I went to study abroad."

He desired to work as a documentary filmmaker in the United States. Son Seok-Koo trained as an athlete in Canada, where his younger brother lives, while also serving in the Zaytun Division.

3. Activity

He began performing in the chorus of the play Oedipus in 2011, and later, a Midsense 8 staff member who had seen the play "Love is on fire" proposed an audition and showed up.

The unsettling antagonist in the tvN drama "Mother" in 2018 did an excellent job of portraying Seorak and grabbing the public's attention.

It gained popularity with the JTBC drama "Be Melodramatic" and the designated survivor on the 60th day of the 2019 tvN drama.

A webtoon-based Netflix drama called "D.P" was published in 2021. He received praise for his realistic military officer acting in the midst of the military's thorough class supremacy when he played Captain Lim Ji-seop in D.P.

The main villain of the 2022 film "The Roundup 2," Kang Hae-sang and Koo (Koo Ja-Kyung)  in the JTBC drama "My Liberation Notes" were successful in succession, establishing himself as a leading actor.
