TREASURE Shines Bright in Japan with Chart-Topping Release and Sold-Out Fan Concerts
K-pop powerhouse TREASURE is making headlines in Japan with their latest digital single and sold-out fan concerts. On June 28, the group made a memorable appearance on TBS’s ‘CDTV Live! Live!,’ performing the Japanese version of their hit track ‘YELLOW’—aptly titled ‘YELLOW -JP Ver.-‘—to celebrate their 5th anniversary.
Dressed in vibrant yellow and blue casual outfits, the members captivated viewers with dazzling visuals and energetic charisma. Their live performance, marked by lively hand-held microphone use and confidently executed choreography, showcased why TREASURE is known as ‘stage masters.’ Playful gestures like their ‘cheek poke’ and a surprise ending pose by Asahi, who presented a yellow flower, added to the song’s youthful and refreshing vibe.
The single is part of ‘SPECIAL JP SELECTION [PLEASURE]’, which also features ‘LAST NIGHT -JP Ver.-‘. The original Korean versions of both songs topped major Japanese music charts upon release. The mini album ‘PLEASURE’ ranked No.1 on Oricon’s Weekly Western Album Chart for three consecutive weeks, and the Japanese versions are replicating this success. Notably, ‘YELLOW -JP Ver.-‘ currently holds the No.1 spot on the Japan iTunes Top Songs Chart.
TREASURE’s popularity in Japan continues to soar with their 2025 TREASURE FAN CONCERT [SPECIAL MOMENT] IN JAPAN. All 10 scheduled shows sold out quickly, and they marked a milestone at their kickoff venue in Hyogo by surpassing a total of 1 million attendees across all solo tours in Japan. The group is set to tour major cities including Aichi, Fukuoka, and Saitama, continuing their wave of success.
Adding to their packed schedule, TREASURE will also appear at the upcoming SUMMER SONIC 2025 festival in Osaka’s Expo 70 Commemorative Park this August, further solidifying their reign as global K-pop sensations.
