An Exciting Preview of ‘Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint’
The highly anticipated drama ‘전지적 독자 시점’ (Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint) has released an exclusive photo shoot with its five leading stars: Ahn Hyo-seop, Lee Min-ho, Chae Soo-bin, Shin Seung-ho, and Nana. This feature comes ahead of the drama’s release, capturing a mix of nervous and relaxed moods among the cast, as seen through the unique perspective of ‘Harpers Bazaar’.
Based on a popular web novel of the same name, the drama unfolds the story of ‘Kim Dook-ja’, portrayed by Ahn Hyo-seop. When asked about his reasons for joining the project, Ahn noted, “The character ‘Dook-ja’ is one of the most relatable characters I’ve ever portrayed. His constant decision-making and growth are aspects that I wanted audiences to experience as if they were the protagonists themselves.”
Lee Min-ho, who plays ‘Yoo Joong-hyuk’, emphasized, “What I find most significant is delivering and capturing what I feel during each period within the work. Yoo Joong-hyuk’s character impressed me with his journey through loss and resilience inside the novel’s universe.”
Chae Soo-bin takes on the role of ‘Yoo Sang-ah’, Kim Dook-ja’s colleague. She expressed her enthusiasm for the project, saying, “The feeling of embarking on an adventure with this community of characters captivated me. The storyline is so compelling that I am eager to watch it myself.”
Shin Seung-ho, portraying ‘Lee Hyun-sung’, a soldier with immense strength, discussed the repeated military roles by saying, “The major difference this time is ‘justice’. Hyun-sung becomes a hero in a chaotic world, so I attempted to show warmth and a strong sense of responsibility.”
Actress Nana, who plays ‘Jeong Hee-won’, delved into her action scenes, “I always wanted to wield a sword, and now using both a long and short sword felt like I could enhance the choreography with fuller movements. This project has fueled my passion for becoming an action star.”
