On October 7th, the legendary KBS 2TV show, Immortal Songs, is setting the stage for a unique crossover event titled ‘Nine Innings, Two Outs: The Comeback Special’, featuring iconic figures from the world of baseball.

Audiences are in for a treat as six of South Korea’s most celebrated baseball legends swap their bats for microphones. The stellar line-up includes:

Byung-Hyun Kim, known as the ‘nuclear submarine’, a World Series-winning pitcher.

Yong-taek Park, celebrated as the ‘eternal batting king’.

Tae-kyun Kim, hailed as the ‘monster hitter’.

Dae-hyung Lee, the ‘stolen bases king’.

Hee-gwan Yoo, who turns pitching into an art, known as the ‘pioneer of slow pitching’.

Dae-eun Lee, the ‘pretty boy pitcher’.

As they prepare to hit the stage, Byung-Hyun Kim dazzles with his World Series championship rings from his time with the Boston Red Sox and the Arizona Diamondbacks, adding a touch of grandeur to the show.

Meanwhile, Dae-eun Lee, who has a reputation for singing talent among baseball players, confidently declared, “After watching the rehearsals, I am sure I am number one.”

Adding to the excitement, Yong-taek Park exclaimed, “It’s a battlefield today!”, foreshadowing an epic showdown.

Accompanying these legendary athletes is MC Chan-won Lee, who shared his anticipation, “It’s unbelievable to be able to see all these baseball legends together.”
