‘The Judge from Hell’ Wins Bronze at 2025 New York Festivals TV & Film Awards
SBS has achieved international recognition as its fantasy drama ‘The Judge from Hell’, directed by Park Jin-pyo, secured a Bronze Award in the Science Fiction/Fantasy/Horror category at the prestigious 2025 New York Festivals TV & Film Awards.
Airing from September 21 to November 2, 2024, the drama captivated audiences with its unique premise—an infernal demon named Kang Bit-na (played by Park Shin-hye) incarnates into the body of a judge and meets an empathetic detective, Han Da-on (played by Kim Jae-young), to deliver justice in a morally chaotic world. The show’s creative narrative, social commentary, and standout performances earned it recognition on the global stage.
Meanwhile, SBS’s other entries have also drawn international attention. The lifestyle variety program ‘Dongne Meotjip 2’, directed by Kim Myung-ha, reached the finals in the Lifestyle Program category.
