&TEAM Breaks Records with ‘Go in Blind’: Achieves Half-Million Sales on Release Day

Japanese-Korean boy group &TEAM has once again proved its explosive popularity with the release of their third single ‘Go in Blind’, marking a new milestone as the group’s first half-million seller on release day. On April 23, &TEAM recorded an impressive 569,000 physical CD sales in Japan, according to SoundScan Japan, doubling the first-day sales of their previous hit, ‘Aoarashi’.

This marks a significant leap forward for the group, whose previous two singles, ‘Aoarashi’ and ‘Yukiakari’, each took three to four weeks to surpass the half-million mark. With these accelerating sales milestones, &TEAM is quickly solidifying its position as a fan favorite in the J-pop landscape.

‘Go in Blind’ also soared to the top of Japan’s Oricon Daily Singles Chart on April 22, continuing &TEAM’s streak of three consecutive No.1 debuts on this prestigious chart. It’s a clear testament to the group’s growing influence and the unwavering support of their dedicated fanbase, known as LUNÉ.

The group’s members – Fuma, K, Nicholas, Yuma, Jo, Harua, Taki, and Maki – delivered a powerful performance of their new tracks including ‘Run Wild’ and ‘Wolf type’ at a release showcase held at Toyosu PIT in Tokyo on the same day.

Leader Ejoo shared during the event, “As we enter our third year since debut, we feel our bond as a team has grown stronger. With all nine of us together, we fear nothing. We prepared this album to showcase a new side of &TEAM.” K added, “As long as we’re with LUNÉ, we believe we can keep expanding our own universe.”

&TEAM is set to embark on an ambitious Asia tour starting May 10-11 in Aichi, Japan, before heading to major cities including Tokyo, Bangkok, Fukuoka, Seoul, Jakarta, Taipei, Hyogo, and Hong Kong. The Seoul concerts are scheduled for June 7-8 at the iconic Jamsil Indoor Stadium.
