Stray Kids Conquer Mexico City with Sold-Out Stadium Finale
Stray Kids brought their historic first Latin American stadium tour to an electrifying close in Mexico City, captivating 115,000 fans over two sold-out nights at the monumental Estadio GNP Seguros. Originally slated for a single concert on April 12, the demand soared so high that an additional show was added on the 13th, cementing the group’s explosive popularity far from home.
The Mexico City shows served as the epic finale to the Latin American leg of their ongoing Stray Kids World Tour, which spans 22 cities across Latin America, Japan, North America, and Europe. Kicking off in Santiago on March 27, the group thrilled fans in Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, and Lima before reaching their record-setting conclusion in Mexico.
In a venue graced by icons like Metallica, Shakira, Coldplay, and Bruno Mars, Stray Kids proved they belong among global music royalty. Their electrifying setlist included fan favorites like “Back Door,” “Chk Chk Boom,” “God’s Menu,” and “I Like It,” interspersed with ballads like “Lonely St.” and “I am YOU.” They also delivered high-octane performances of unit songs from their digital single Mixtape: dominATE, igniting deafening cheers from local fans.
“It was an honor to perform in such a massive stadium with our fans, STAY,” the group said in their closing remarks. “We truly felt embraced by you all. Thank you for allowing the name Stray Kids to shine this brightly — we’ll never forget this.”
Across eight stadium shows in five Latin American cities, Stray Kids drew an estimated 400,000 attendees, showcasing their massive global appeal. The tour resumes in Japan on May 10 with back-to-back performances at Shizuoka Ecopa Stadium, and is expected to attract 2.2 million people across 55 shows — a potential record-setting moment in K-pop touring history.
