Squid Game Stars to Guest on Lee Min-jung’s New TV Show Special
Riding the wave of ongoing global K-content popularity, KBS2 is launching a unique variety show, ‘Ganeunjeong Oneunjeong Lee Min-jung’, with a highly anticipated Squid Game special episode scheduled to air on May 16 at 9:50 PM KST.
This fresh-format entertainment program follows the cast as they travel through rural villages in a mobile convenience store, delivering essential goods and heartfelt conversations. Veteran actress Lee Min-jung takes the lead as main host, joined by fixed cast members Boom, Ahn Jae-hyun, Kim Jung-hyun, and Kim Jae-won.
To kick off the premiere, the show is planning a Squid Game-themed episode featuring none other than global breakout stars Wi Ha-joon and Park Gyu-young. Wi gained massive international fame through the first season of the Netflix hit Squid Game, while Park joins the cast starting from Season 2 and is confirmed for Season 3 as well.
