Among the attendees, SEVENTEEN’s Jun made a notable appearance at the opening ceremony held on June 14th at the Shanghai Grand Theatre.
Having starred in ‘The Shadow’s Edge’ (“포풍추영”), directed by Larry Yang, Jun walked the red carpet alongside esteemed co-stars like Tony Leung and Zhang Ziyi. The film focuses on the intense battle between notorious criminal groups and the police determined to bring them to justice.
> “Filming ‘The Shadow’s Edge’ was not only an amazing project but a journey of dreams. I learned a lot from legends like Jackie Chan and Tony Leung,” said Jun during a backstage interview. He expressed profound gratitude towards director Larry Yang for making his involvement possible.
Jun’s Rise as an Acclaimed Actor
This marks the first invitation for Jun, who debuted several years ago, to such a significant international film festival, reflecting his elevated status as an actor.
