SEVENTEEN Unleashes Thunder Teaser Ahead of 5th Album Release

Kpop group SEVENTEEN drops a teaser for THUNDER sparking excitement for HAPPY BURSTDAY

K-pop sensation SEVENTEEN has ignited their comeback frenzy with a dazzling teaser for their upcoming title track, “THUNDER”, from their fifth full-length album HAPPY BURSTDAY. The teaser, released on June 24 at 10 PM via the official SEVENTEEN social media channels and HYBE LABELS’ YouTube channel, offered fans a glimpse into the electrifying choreography and dynamic energy that defines the group’s identity.

True to their form, SEVENTEEN members—including S.COUPS, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino—radiate charisma and control as they move in synchronized harmony. A standout feature in the teaser is a telephone receiver-inspired hand gesture, symbolizing the group’s message of ongoing connection and energetic exchange with fans.

In contrast to the first teaser’s gritty visual depicting ‘Daredevil’ personas entering the dystopian ‘Blitz Club,’ the newly released footage dives headfirst into a euphoric rebirth celebration within the club’s pulsating atmosphere. Members are portrayed proudly flaunting symbolic facial scars, signifying personal transformation, as they laugh manically or flaunt fierce gazes while straddling motorcycles.

Set against a thrilling EDM beat, lyrics like “Phone ringing like thunder” and “It tingles and stings like lightning” promise an adrenaline-pumping full track with hook-filled momentum that fans won’t be able to resist.

Ramping up the excitement before the album’s release, SEVENTEEN will host a live showcase titled B-DAY PARTY: BURST Stage @Jamsu Bridge on June 25 at 7:30 PM KST. The city’s renowned Jamsu Bridge will be transformed into a party venue amidst the reflections of Sevit Islets, as thousands of global fans are expected to gather in anticipation.

Officially dropping on June 26 at 6 PM KST, HAPPY BURSTDAY is poised to be another milestone in SEVENTEEN’s unstoppable rise as global K-pop icons.
