Seventeen Returns with Hilarious Mockumentary Teaser ‘SEVENTEEN TV’

Kpop group Seventeen releases a mockumentary teaser ahead of their album HAPPY BURSTDAY

K-pop sensation Seventeen (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino) is igniting anticipation for their return with an uproarious mockumentary-style teaser.

On the evening of June 14, Seventeen unveiled a teaser video for their hit self-produced content series GOING SEVENTEEN on their official social media channels. The special comeback edition, titled SEVENTEEN TV, serves as a humorous yet heartfelt prelude to their activities leading up to their fifth full album.

The teaser kicks off with confused chatter among the members, asking, “How are we starting today?” and “Is this really a documentary?” — setting the tone for the comic undertones to follow. What begins with playful confusion quickly transforms into intense and emotional dialogue as the members gather at their dorm to reflect and exchange increasingly dramatic remarks like, “Is this the right thing to do?” and “Stop filming.”

Towards the end, fans are treated to a re-enactment of the infamous “gray towel” episode—a popular anecdote among the Carat fandom involving Seungkwan and DK. Seungkwan provocatively mocks, “Throw it and see what happens,” while DK retorts, “You think I can’t?” and hurls a towel across the room, showcasing their brilliant on-screen chemistry and humor.

The full episodes of the GOING SEVENTEEN comeback special will be released on June 21 and 28 at 10 PM KST. As excitement builds for their full comeback, Seventeen is also drawing attention with the upcoming release of their 5th full-length album HAPPY BURSTDAY, scheduled for June 26.

Leading up to the album, a highlight medley will drop on June 16, followed by two official teasers released successively on June 23 and 24. Additionally, fans can look forward to with Seventeen, a collaboration variety show with popular producer Na Young-seok, premiering on July 2 across Weverse, tvN, and Disney+.
