SEVENTEEN’s Grand 10th Anniversary Hits Seoul

K-pop sensation SEVENTEEN recently celebrated their milestone 10th debut anniversary in a dazzling multi-day festival across Seoul’s iconic Some Sevit complex along the Han River, engaging thousands of fans—known as CARATs—from around the globe, as well as curious tourists and locals.

A Three-Day Immersive Party

Commemorating their debut on May 26, 2015, SEVENTEEN turned the entire area into a pulsating hub for fans. The “B-DAY PARTY” event, held May 23-25, featured unique interactive zones such as the SEVENTEEN History Zone—showcasing the group’s iconic rings, trophies, and rare memorabilia—plus the Interactive Message Zone where fans left heartfelt messages. The 5th Album Merch Zone offered exclusive anniversary merchandise including concert lightsticks and themed fashion, while visitors who completed a special stamp tour exchanged them for collectible photocards.

Reservation-Only Experiences Sell Out Fast

According to their agency HYBE, key programs like History Zone, Puzzle SEVENTEEN gaming zone, Photism selfie booths, and the Merch Zone sold out in minutes. Guests snapped memorable photos by a supersized 10th anniversary lightstick floating over the Han River, and even met BONGBONGEE (the official SEVENTEEN mascot) strolling in commemorative T-shirts.

Reliving a Decade of Growth

Retro TV screens played SEVENTEEN highlights across the years, from raw debut clips to glimmering award moments. Fans could even print out inspiring song lyrics to take home. Photism photo booths offered fans frameable moments with iconic album covers and members.

Puzzling Fun and Tech Interactions

The Puzzle SEVENTEEN gaming area—featuring bonafide characters inspired by group members—attracted enthusiastic crowds. Fans enjoyed mini-games, learned about SEVENTEEN’s direct involvement in the game’s development, and earned prizes for participation.

Exclusive Merchandise and Visual Delights

On May 26, SEVENTEEN launched their 5th album “Happy Burst Day” alongside the sale of 10th anniversary official lightsticks, with concept photos plastered across the event’s exterior to create dynamic photo zones.

Burst Stage Concert Electrifies Jamsu Bridge

The festival’s highlight, “BURST Stage @Jamsu Bridge,” drew 6,000 fans to the landmark bridge for the first-ever K-pop concert at this iconic venue. Eleven members performed (with Jeonghan & Wonwoo excused due to military duties), previewing their new single “Thunder” in an explosive set accompanied by neon-lit fountain shows, fireworks, and immersive EDM choreography. The set culminated in encore performances, including their hit “Aju Nice,” dazzling the crowd under a cascade of water and lights.

Global Festivities Beyond Seoul

While the main events at Banpo Hangang Park concluded, celebrations continue across Korea and internationally through June 1. Major bridges like Wonhyo, World Cup, and Haengju light up nightly in SEVENTEEN’s signature rose quartz and serenity colors. The HYBE headquarters display the motivational phrase “SEVENTEEN WILL CHALLENGE ETERNITY,” while pop-up photo zones, and giant outdoor ads in cities including Busan, Daegu, Gwangju, Daejeon, plus famous destinations in the USA, Japan, and China spotlight SEVENTEEN’s enduring impact and their bold, new era.
