SEVENTEEN’s latest album, HAPPY BURSTDAY, has set a remarkable record in K-Pop history. According to Hanteo Chart, the album achieved an impressive total of 2,521,208 copies sold in its first week (May 26 – June 1), topping the weekly album chart during this period. This makes it the highest-selling K-Pop album released this year.

A New Double Million Seller

Upon their comeback, SEVENTEEN became this year’s first double million-seller with their new album. The group continues to climb the sales charts, solidifying their position as a top K-Pop group.

Worldwide Dominance

Notably, HAPPY BURSTDAY dominated domestic and international charts. The album reached number one on Hanteo Chart’s daily album chart and ‘Worldwide iTunes Album’ chart upon release. It also secured the top spot on Japan’s Oricon ‘Daily Album Ranking’ for five consecutive days (May 27 – 31). In China, it claimed the top spot in the QQ Music ‘Digital Best Selling Album’ comprehensive category and earned a ‘Diamond Album Certification’ after surpassing 5 million yuan in sales.

Hit Single ‘THUNDER’

The title track THUNDER continues to gain popularity. It topped Bugs daily charts for two consecutive days (May 30 – 31) and maintained a high position in Melon’s ‘Top 100.’ The performance of ‘THUNDER’ on music shows has garnered positive online reactions, contributing to its climbing streaming chart rankings.

Global Tour Success

SEVENTEEN’s impact extends beyond albums. Their global tour recorded a total revenue of approximately USD 120.9 million from October 1 of last year to March 31 of this year, the third highest worldwide and the best among K-Pop artists.

NANA TOUR with SEVENTEEN, with PD Na Young-seok, premieres today, combining music shows and variety content. The main episodes will be accessible every Monday on tvN and Disney+ in South Korea and 77 countries worldwide.
