SEVENTEEN Announces Bold Return with 10th Anniversary Album ‘HAPPY BURSTDAY’
Global K-pop phenomenon SEVENTEEN is set to make a powerful return on May 26 with their fifth studio album HAPPY BURSTDAY, marking their monumental 10th anniversary. The group—comprising S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino—unleashed an elaborate promotion schedule via their official social media, igniting global excitement among CARATs, their dedicated fandom.
The album title, a creative blend of ‘Birthday’ and ‘Burst’, symbolizes explosive celebration and rebirth—a bold message of SEVENTEEN’s evolution and readiness to redefine their musical identity in their second decade.
Fans can anticipate a trio of original concept reveals named ‘NEW ESCAPE’, ‘NEW MYSELF’, and ‘NEW BURSTDAY’, releasing on May 1, 5, and 8 respectively. These will include striking concept photos and short films offering a glimpse into the themes behind the album. Following this buildup, a full tracklist drops on May 13, followed by a highlight medley on May 16, and two official teasers on May 23 and 24.
A standout moment in the schedule is the three-day long B-DAY PARTY event from May 23–25, culminating in the spectacular BURST Stage near Seoul’s iconic Jamsu Bridge. Designed as a grand celebration for SEVENTEEN’s 10-year journey, it’s expected to attract massive global attention.
