Rosé Named to TIME 100 Most Influential List
Rosé, the New Zealand–born Korean-Australian singer and member of the world-renowned girl group BLACKPINK, has earned a coveted spot on TIME magazine’s prestigious TIME 100 list. Published on April 16 (local time), the annual list honors the 100 most influential individuals across the globe.
First launched in 2004, the TIME 100 list spans six distinct categories: Artists, Icons, Leaders, Titans, Pioneers, and Innovators. Rosé made her mark under the ‘Pioneer’ section—an accolade denoting individuals shaping the future with groundbreaking contributions in their respective fields.
Rosé stood out for her musical achievements and the impact of her artistry, most notably the global success of her duet “APT.” with pop legend Bruno Mars, which dropped in October last year. The soulful, genre-blending track quickly became an international sensation and cemented Rosé’s influence as a solo performer beyond her group identity.
In a tribute introduction, actress Lily Collins praised Rosé as a “dynamic performer and songwriter who captivates audiences worldwide,” adding, “Her stage presence is magnetic — something that can only come from deep self-awareness and passion.”
Rosé further solidified her presence in the global music scene with the release of her debut full-length album rosie in December. Featuring tracks like “number one girl,” noted for its honest lyricism, and “toxic till the end,” which garnered attention for its emotionally charged music video, the album showcases Rosé’s multifaceted artistry.
With critical acclaim and a devoted global fanbase, Rosé is expected to continue her upward trajectory throughout 2025 and beyond, reinforcing why she truly deserves her place among the world’s most influential figures.
