Rising K-Pop Stars NEWBEAT to Join KCON Japan 2025 Lineup
Emerging K-Pop rookie group NEWBEAT (Park Min-seok, Hong Min-sung, Jeon Yeo-jeong, Choi Seo-hyun, Kim Tae-yang, Jo Yunhu, and Kim Ri-woo) is officially set to appear at KCON JAPAN 2025, happening from May 9 to 11 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.
The group will kick off the first day of KCON on May 9 with a dynamic showcase and dance stage, setting the tone for their grand entrance onto the global stage.
On the final day, May 11, NEWBEAT will appear on the red carpet and the pre-show stage, giving fans exclusive opportunities to interact with them live.
Fans can expect a diverse stage set, including performances of their debut album’s title track “Flip the Coin” and pre-release single “JeLLo” from their first full-length album RAW AND RAD.
This marks NEWBEAT’s debut appearance at a KCON event, and the group is determined to leave a powerful impression with perfect vocals and striking choreography.
Their official debut began with the March release of RAW AND RAD, accompanied by appearances on Mnet’s Debut Show Drop the NEWBEAT and the SBS Fan Showcase, showcasing their bold entrance into the K-Pop world.
In an unconventional move for a rookie group, NEWBEAT dropped not just a full album but also unveiled two pre-release singles, all of which were supported by aesthetically thrilling music videos that captivated K-Pop fans globally.
The group has also surged in popularity through appearances on major YouTube content platforms like It’s Live, Idol Human Theater, Minju’s Pink Cabinet, and the viral Relay Dance series.
Following successful performances at the 2025 LOVESOME Festival and the Seoul Spring Festa Opening Seoul Wonder Show, NEWBEAT’s upcoming showing at KCON JAPAN 2025 drives anticipation even higher.
