Rising K-pop Group NEWBEAT Wraps Up a Stellar Debut with ‘Flip the Coin’
Rookie K-pop sensation NEWBEAT (Park Min-seok, Hong Min-sung, Jeon Yeo-yeo-jeong, Choi Seo-hyun, Kim Tae-yang, Jo Yun-hu, and Kim Ri-woo) has officially completed their debut music show promotions. The group gave their final performance of the title track ‘Flip the Coin’ from their first full-length album ‘RAW AND RAD’ on KBS2’s Music Bank on the 18th of last month.
Sporting youthful school-inspired outfits, NEWBEAT captivated viewers with their fresh charm and polished stage presence. Their powerful live vocals and seamless performance skills left fans and critics alike praising them as a breakout act with ‘legendary potential.’
Since kicking off their debut journey on Mnet’s M Countdown on March 27, the septet has lit up stages across platforms such as MBC’s Show Music Core, SBS’s Inkigayo, and KBS2’s Music Bank. Despite being new to the game, their stage presence and professional live performance quality were lauded as beyond rookie standards.
NEWBEAT quickly gained traction on Korean portals and social media, with their debut videos topping charts and going viral.
