Rising K-pop Group ILLIT Stuns on the Cover of Vogue Korea’s June Issue
Emerging K-pop girl group ILLIT has captured attention with their captivating visuals, gracing the cover of Vogue Korea‘s June issue. On June 14, the fashion magazine revealed two contrasting cover versions featuring the group, through its official social media channels.
ILLIT showcased their distinctive charm by embodying two entirely different concepts. In one version, the members appeared in soft pastel-toned outfits that exuded a youthful, romantic vibe. In stark contrast, the black-and-white edition presented the girls as chic and edgy cool girls, proving their remarkable versatility in front of the camera.
During the interview accompanying the photoshoot, the group shared insights into their on-stage and off-stage personas. “The concept we present on stage can be cute or intense depending on the song,” the members shared. “But off-stage, we go back to being playful high school girls — that’s the real identity of ILLIT.”
They further elaborated, saying, “The core of our music lies in honesty. Some parts are very direct, which makes it more fun and relatable for listeners.”
Fans can find the full pictorial and in-depth interview in the June edition of Vogue Korea or on the magazine’s official website.
Meanwhile, ILLIT continues to connect with fans through various live appearances. On June 15, they are set to take the stage at festivals held by Sogang University and Baewha Women’s University. Later this month, on May 31, the group will also perform at the Incheon Inspire Entertainment Resort for the 2025 Weverse Con Festival.
