RIIZE Unveils the Deeper Meaning Behind Final Track ‘Another Life’ From Debut Album ‘Odyssey’

Rising K-pop group RIIZE, under the banner of SM Entertainment, has shed light on the emotional significance of the final track, “Another Life,” from their debut full-length album ‘Odyssey’.

According to SM Entertainment, “Another Life” captivates with a blend of emotional piano melodies, impactful drum beats, and vibrant electric guitar riffs, creating a reflective and unexpected sonic journey. The lyrics traverse the group’s beginnings as trainees, express their current ambitions, and set stage for a future grounded in purpose and determination. The group promises to give their all with no regrets, every step of the way.

In a statement about the song, RIIZE shared, “We really appreciate the philosophical nature of the lyrics—it makes us imagine what might have happened had we taken a different path. The line, ‘Not every moment of mine may be perfect, but there will be no regrets,’ reflects the spirit of our group moving forward.”

‘Odyssey’ is not just a debut but a declaration. The album serves as a bold articulation of RIIZE’s identity through ten tracks shaped by their signature “emotional pop” sound. Setting a new precedent in the K-pop industry, RIIZE will premiere all 10 tracks in a cinematic format before the album’s official release. Beginning May 14 at 8 PM KST, members of the Weverse RIIZE community will get exclusive online access to the film. From May 15, the experience extends to offline screenings across 27 theaters in South Korea, China, Japan, and Thailand—marking the largest premiere rollout of its kind.
