RIIZE Makes History as First K-Pop Group to Perform at Austin City Limits Music Festival
K-pop group RIIZE is set to become the first-ever K-pop artists to perform at the Austin City Limits Music Festival (ACL), solidifying their global presence with a historic performance at one of the most iconic music events in the United States.
The festival, which runs over two weekends from October 3-5 and 10-12 at Zilker Park in Austin, Texas, is one of America’s largest music festivals. With an annual attendance of up to 450,000 people since its inception in 2002, ACL draws a massive international crowd and features world-class performers.
This year’s star-studded lineup includes Sabrina Carpenter, Doja Cat, Doechii, Hozier, Luke Combs, and The Strokes, among others — and now, RIIZE is joining the ranks, representing the K-pop genre for the very first time on this grand stage.
RIIZE’s explosive growth includes prior performances at other renowned festivals such as Mexico’s largest pop event Tecate Emblema, Korea’s Busan International Rock Festival, Japan’s Summer Sonic, and Thailand’s Rolling Loud, all of which garnered highly positive international attention.
The timing couldn’t be more perfect, as RIIZE is also set to release their highly anticipated first full-length album “ODYSSEY” on May 19 at 6PM KST across major streaming platforms. With high-impact performances and a global schedule packed with influential gigs, RIIZE continues to build their brand as one of K-pop’s rising forces on the world stage.
